currently jailbreak is impossible to do on the newest iOS. There are many sites like pangu or something like that, but to use it all the time you have to have developer account, which costs about 500 $ (If I well remembered).

Jailbreaking iOS isn't really worth it. I'd just invest in getting an android and jailbreak your device for free and having more features and capability.

yes, you're right. Android is much better choice than iPhone if you want to "open" your device...

Well I don't think thats what he meant.

Jailbreaking is just removing the restrictions set in place by the manufacturer (respected developer) to not have unsigned software enter the phone causing customers to request support on applications that were never intended to be apart of the phone. Nowadays (post 3GS and iphone 4) jailbreaking isnt worth it because the features that the jailbreakers enabled on the iphone are now included (such as multitasking, changing wallpaper, managing SIM capabilities, etc.). Jailbreaking your phone really allows you to see the guts of the phone now. Or change how the phone starts up, other than that I can't think of very many QoL features for it. Now its mainly for those who are anxious to see how the phones operate so they can play with code and what not. Honestly, what their objective is, I don't know.

Jail breaking is breaking out of the restrictions and permission set by the manufacturer by hacking into the kernel

Jailbreak allows you to get control over the root and media partition of your device. This is where all the iOS files are stores. To do this, /private/etc/fstab must be patched.

If you jailbreak your device you will be basically free from apple hands

Basically, Jailbreaking is installing a custom version of the operating system that allows third-party apps (ones not in the Apple store) to be installed and used.
Once this change is made, you can really do just about anything. All the settings that Apple lock away are easily editable with the right tools.
