i have problems with the lag, when i playing minecraft

i have LAG

do you know how to reduce the lag on my minecraft, the specs of my pc are:

HP notebook 440 g3
12GB ram ddr3
Core i3 6000u
1Tb HDD

my internet connection it's normal 10mb, when i'm downloading something the speed was up to 2mb per second, and i think than that is normal and good

can you help me with my problem?

i'm playing without mods, only optifine, and use the stock minecraft resource pack, i don't use shaders.

First. Try using Optifine.
Second. Add more RAM to minecraft by editing JVM arguments in minecraft Launcher. You can find it in Edit Profile.
If it sill will lags your Minecraft than throw this notebook through window and go buy something better.

Try use optifine, gamefire and turn off browser and some ram-expensive apps. Also u can give to Minecraft more RAM.
Notebooks not for gaming, i think..

Really suggest just allocating more ram or using optifine like the others mentioned.

You using a modpack or something?
