Hey dude, you never, never need pay your money to be strong, if this game is (Pay to Win) you get out and change the game, you don't need the game, the game that need you cause you'll be the best player of this game

In any game, you can become strong without donation, if this is not the case, then the game will soon become dead. In Genshin Impact Donate only allows you to increase the chance for a new hero and that's it.

Personally, I wouldn't give mihoyo any of your hard earned money
I've played the game since launch and have to say I'm pretty disappointed in the game right now and where its headed with the slow updates and the crumbs of 'content'
The game isn't pay to win, it's pay to get your favorite waifu or husbando smh

Depends on what makes you happy, if you feel like you can really enjoy spending money on the game, then do it.
