i vow to at least attempt to watch an entire anime series

i've been making the mistake of classifying anime as an entire genre rather than what it basically is, a preferred art style.

so, in that case, i would like to stop avoiding anime due to my view on anime as a "genre" and try to watch an entire series.

what do you guys recommend?

(i like sci-fi stuff, and i've already tried to watch psycho-pass).

I think you should see Cowboy Bebop or Ergo Proxy if you like sci-fi.

Maybe Space Dandy?
Good amount of comedy and action, and also boobs and innuendo.

If I was you I'd look into TGGL.

Space Dandy is from the same director of Cowboy Bebop. I suggest to watch CB before watching anything else from Watanabe.

Maybe Gurren Lagann? Heard people liking it as a starter anime.

Gurren Lagann = Crying a lot.
