i want open rp server what i need to do

i dont know anything about rp server
give me advise

I am currently in the process of starting a new server myself. The best advice I can give you is to have money. It will cost you quite a bit of money to get add-ons the legit way and you also will have to pay monthly for the hosting. Second, you better have friends because without friends you won't get players unless you are super creative. You will want to have a few friends on your server and have all of you playing on a daily basis till people start to notice your server. Don't go above 32 slots until you consistently hit that cap. Third, make sure on a "DarkRP" server that you have all kinds of ways to make money as well as creative jobs and such. Lastly, you'll want a discord server and website. In all, you will most likely spend $30-40 per month on your server and site. Plus at least $100 on add-ons. If you have any questions or anything lmk.
