intel core i5 or i7

i7 6850K, i7 7700K, or i7 8700K are good choices if you go for i7. A bit expensive but worth it for gaming.

i prefer i7-7700k for overclocking purposes and also you have at least a better gpu for a better performance.

i7 processor with 16gb is doing good for me, and it is really fast with 1050i nvidia gpu
