I am looking to upgrade my prcessor from a i7 7700k and am deciding on either a 3700x or i7 9700k.

Thanks the input!

I Have an AMD and I am not complaining, AMD was bad but now it making a comeback. Be sure your graphics card is compatible with your AMD processor.

In general, AMD processors are not bad, but they have a delay in control, which affects the game very much. Therefore choose intel.

AMD used to be seen as the cheaper option that was the "budget option." However, AMD has amazingly caught up to Intel these days, producing CPUs that are definitely on-par with current Intel processors at competing prices. I would use a spec comparison site to see and if it's within your budget and you're fine with AMD, it's currently a very viable option. Personally I still use Intel but AMD has definitely made a great comeback.

I've been using Intel forever and I haven't really had any problems. I'd go with Intel right now. While AMD is growing, that's true, Intel is already an expert at being in the lead

I'm no expert but I have had no issues with AMD. I've had an AMD processor for years now with no issue.
