iphone x

what do ya'll think of the new iphone? anyone tempted? personally i like it but as with most new things on the market the first version is a bag of wank so i'm probaly gonna hold off until next year and get the updated version xD

I`ll buy it soon. Joke im not foof, better collect new super computa, then buy similar shit...

I feel like the facial recognition isn't going to be as consistent as a finger print scanner. It hasn't worked yet. I would be extremely impressed if it did.

Looks like same overpriced Apple spam with very iffy face recognition software...it even failed in the presentation -.-

I watched the unveiling live. The iPhone 8 didn't impress me. The iPhone X was in the right direction. Sadly it's focus on gimmicky software features was a deal breaker. The beautiful screen and that black bar on the left...come on. The camera isn't even that great, they try so hard to get software to improve mediocre hardware. Also the images they used for the unveiling were shot by professionals, with obviously extra equipment. I really wanted to like the iPhone X, but idk. The Note 8 and LG V30 are looking better.

Here's some stuff I found better in the Note 8:

Note 8 has a better screen resolution, miles ahead of the X's "Super Retina Display" lmao (it's funny how they come up with names for such an underwelming hardware). The Note 8 has eight cores vs the X's 6 cores, although I have to give Apple kudos for good optimization. The Note 8 has 6 gigs of ram, which is more than enough. Note 8 has a headphone jack and Usb C. The Note 8 has a micro sd slot for more memory. The Note 8 in terms of security, will have finger print, iris scan, and face detection. Then for the Note 8 you have the S pen, haptic feedback, split screen, and more. In terms of camera, the LG V30 will be better than the X and Note 8.

I know the iPhone X has a bunch of new features compared to previous Apple products but not necessarily compared to other phones. However, that darn thing called brand loyalty has kept me with Apple for years now so personally I'm very excited. Curse you brand loyalty!!!

I own a iphone myself, but simply the X' version is just.. Why?

another too expensive toy with useless apps and features. Would never buy it anyway.
