iron or gold?

Different usages, Iron is better for equipment, gold is better for construction, adittional resources like golden apple, etc

Iron is way more useful but gold is used to show wealth and therefore worth more

Iron. Gold is extremely useless due to the items such as armor and weapons breaking so quickly, even tho it is technically stronger than iron (in damagecatch & damagedealth).

i would say iron because it is more useful, you can make many useful things with iron such as anvils, pistons etc. with gold you can only make a few things like golden apples and notch apples, they are good but they dont last very long, iron stuff however lasts very long

For armour or tools, iron is wayyy better because of bad gold durability

Literally no one uses gold, everyone uses Iron, gold is only good for enchants.
