Not really. I think the game appeals to different kinds of gamers. Try it out, you might like it or even both games

Apex takes more skill as there is a lot of different "Tech" and movement as compared to COD, really its just Slide canceling, but apex you need to know different legends and what they do to understand how to counter-play and assess a gunfight. Honestly just play the game, find a character you like, then watch tutorials or higher skill level players to see their habits. Breakdown videos on gunfights are also insanely useful.

It's harder to master, slower in pace but more rewarding. I suggest picking the champ you like and just play it for fun. With time you'll learn all you need to know and game becomes more competitive if you're looking for that.

not really like cod, way more fast paced and a higher skill ceiling imo

Definitely faster than COD , and you have to add that each character has a different skill, I recommend firing range alot.

It takes way more skill to be good at the game,also the damage and ttk system is nothing like cod where you melt a person in 0.0003 seconds :D

Apex is way better than cod. So many things to think about
