who even plays csgo anymore? or even cs source for that matter?

i think csgo is a dead game because in everyround are so much hacker that it was made free killed the game

cs was at its prime when i played in 2014,15 and 16, it dropped off and has came back but i think making it free opened the door for smurfs and hackers so easily.

Going Free To Play is the worse thing that have hapened to this game, it killed the spirit of the game, and there are way too many cheaters nowadays

that's pretty bad in my opinion... f2p was never supposed to be for csgo

It's definitely not dead, a quick look at the steam charts for the game and you will change your mind. I really wish the game didn't go free-to-play, but it has brought a lot of people to the game, though most of those players are just hackers. So, unless you are in high trust prime, meaning you don't do good and get reported, you won't have a very fun time because the majority of the population is cheaters.

I do not think this really has a great playing community, more sure is not the same game as before and will decay even more as time

Counter Strike will never die, it's been around for so many years. Just wait for the next CS release if you think it's dying.
