lag on my server

i have a server on 1.14.4 but sometimes this lagging so much anthe TPS come down like 14, i use premium bictechost maybe the host are present problems or are only my server?

I have 8 GB of RAM, and sometimes the server is lagging with 1 online player.

Try lowering plugins, Try lowering "render-distance" in the "server.config" file.
If these 2 methods don't work, switch hosts.
1. Get a refund
2. Try hostingyour own Minecraft server.
3. If you fail, choose apex hosting or revivenode hosting.

Try to delete some useless plugins reduce the render distance in the server config.

the host might be bad, you might have too much loaded on your sever, however i definately think its an issue with the host

1.14.4 is generally laggy, I would recommend u to switch

There is a chance that Host isn't allowing your server to run in max performance to profit. Message them about it and if they don't fix it just change hosts. Is 14 TPS that bad though?

Find animal stacker (and add to rules to do not aprove using XP by animals 1x1 [55 chickens])

1.14 is not the better version to run a minecraft server, they added a lot of features without "resolving issues".

try to run your server on 1.14.4,
is your processor enough powerful to run a server without lagging ?

Even though 1.14 is not the best version to use, it wouldn't make TPS go down that much. I'm pretty sure it's a host issue.

tps can go down, i already tried to run an 1.14 server and tps was too low to play,
they changed a lot of things in 1.14 like how the chunk are generated...

but yep it's surely a "host issue", more precisely on the server
