lua gmod coding

i wanna try and code in gmod but is it hard? what language is it?

Its language is LUA and its a very touchy language so learn it well or you will have a bad time.

I want to learn a lot aboout lua scripting I just don't know where to start and learning a coding language is pretty difficult, imo.

I don't know if you're joking but you put in your title "lua gmod coding" then asked what language it is?!?!?!? Its lua what do you think? To start coding I suggest googling the Gmod Wiki and youtube tutorials.

I really want to learn how to use lua, im running servers soon and I want to make a lot of cool mods. I dont want to have a generic server and just use free stuff from workshop.

Its not just plain lua, it is essentially their own libary, watch some youtube videos and look at other peoples code and make stuff yourself.

Personally lua was actually easy for me to pick up on quick, honestly just watch some tutorials and read through some of the code

You dont need to know about lua to run a server. You might just need to understand a bit of lua, and have a general knowledge bout Coding in general. Take it from a server dev here

In general, the language is lua! You must understand what you are doing ... And not just re-merge the merged codes and say that it is you. So you can write me a message in LS, I'll tell you everything.
