How much memory should mobile phones have to run current apps smoothly?

Well, with 4GB of RAM will be enough for running normal use apps and games, but if you wanna more performance I recommend using a phone with more RAM, but as I said, 4GB of RAM is enough for almost everything

You do not have to worry about RAM on an iPhone because Apple does a great job at memory management, however more RAM helps out with Android dependent on how many apps you want to open/run simultaneously.

4/6gb RAM i mean its a fucking phone you dont really need much

Unless you are like streaming 4k porn on 10 different tabs of chrome
