My Gmod folder has been larger, so large that I had to wait 20 minutes for it to mount all the addons on startup

but basically it's all the workshop addons taking up space.

Why would you fresh wipe your whole pc because of Gmod, just unsubscribe to the large addons.

Oh my gosh. Garry's Mod normally weighs 5 gigabytes don't call this game Garry's Mod just call it a mod. The addons you subscribed to weigh 29 times more than Garry's Mod itself.

Remember to keep ur addon amount at a stable number to keep your PC and your disk safe. Else it will go crazy and it might crashyour PC. I suggest you clean the addons from other servers and clean Gmod's cache folders.

RP servers tend to have A LOT of addons, like I played on a scp rp server that had 50gb's of addons and I was downloading them for half a day

i've had a gmod folder that was ~600 at one point back when i used to server hop a lot. just clear your cache and unsub from some addons and you'll be fine
