Nice share, but what's the new features? Is it worth upgrading from 1.8 to 2.0? Have they allowed 2FA for members and not only admins now? Hope you can answer my questions I'm to lazy to search :D

Probably not worth it at the moment unless you are a good coder and familiar with MyBB. Considering it's a major major version I'm doubtful that current plugins and themes will work with 2.0.
To answers your questions, yes members can now enable 2FA for themselves and there are alot (relatively speaking) of changes and new features so it's actually good to check them out here.

People keep asking this, so I thought I'd post it. MyBB 2.0 is nowhere near full release yet, with plenty of features still being implemented. You should NOT upgrade to 2.0 on a live forum. There is no released date planned yet, and the install is rather complex if you aren't hands on.

A feature list can be found here: https://docs.mybb.com/versions/2.0.0/ a more detailed one https://community.mybb.com/forum-193.html
