new to btc help

i gamble so i wanted to do it with btc it says
Deposits require 1 confirmation before they are shown in your balance

what that mean?

To put it simply, it's confirming the transaction that will go to that gambling website. Once 1 is confirmed, it means the other party will receive the BTC no matter what. The reason that it isn't instant because you can send BTC someone with an extremely low fee and it will never confirm and refund back to the original address.

Don't worry, it takes about 30 minutes for 1 confirm max.

It means you need to wait around 10 minutes.

Depending on how much fees you pay, it could take from 10 mins ~ 2 hours.

On Blockchain.info it is around 10 minutes with the default free thingy.
