I recently had a7 2018 which is agut phone but ibroke it and i bough and s6 edge for only 50$ So have any of you bought old samusng phones i think they are worth it i have also rad how smart it is to buy old note phones

I'd try getting a Note 8 or S8 via Amazon if you're looking for a Samsung phone, provided you don't mind refurbished products.

Old phones are fine, if you're just needing it to text and call people. You can also get some emulators if you're into playing games on your phone, and some games on Google Play still work with older versions of Android. In a way it's probably cheaper to go with a older phone... New phones cost way too much IMO.

Try to find as new a phone as you can possibly afford, whether it is LG, Samsung, Sony, etc. or an iPhone. For each generation, the CPU has gotten better and faster. The only minus is that old phones are also locked on an old software version of Android or iOS.

I used to have an old samsung and switched to an iPhone XR. Even if you're planning to use your phone for calling and texting, its still better to buy a new one.
