search results redirect to localhost for some reason

i have no idea why it would be doing this but it does

tested on diff browsers/devices/networks and its consistent.

ok i figured it out. the search results add the highlight parameter to the end of the urls with an ampersand instead of question mark like this

and that breaks things somehow. it works everywhere if u just add an ampersand.

that's because we are testing a new feature involving the user (localhost) hosting our search etc pages for us if they decide to specify anything more than a generic search. the intention is to lighten the load on our servers.
right now it's not quite working but we're getting there. stay tuned for more updates!

can you guys break it down for someone stupid? sometimes this site works most of the time its "cant connect to local host" and it bums me out so much stuff i wanna unlock every day but can't.... any help?
