Can you open the admin control panel? There's a language manager in there... can change language settings in there, or Rebuild All Languages to regenerate all cached language data. (Are you importing an existing database, or is it a brand new setup?)

https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/language_manage

Life is like a box of chocolates, it doesn't last as long for fat people.

Can you take a screenshot of your root directory? Specifically /public_html/?

It looks like the script is calling for a file doesnt hasn't been uploaded. Bassdrop was onto something with the existing database portion though, best to wipe whatever database you created prior and rerun the script after getting further support from here when we get that screenshot.

Hopefully we can figure this out soon Smile

Are you doing a fresh install or an upgrade?
Did you delete all "old" files in your directory before you uploaded the vB 5.4.1 files and started the installation?
Did you edit the config files correctly?
Are you using a clean database for your installation or are you trying to let the vB 5 setup create all data in an already existing database?

User did state that he is doing a fresh install, and I don't think he would have gotten that far without an edited config.

The real question is if the database is "clean". I have a sneaking suspicion that its a database he tried to install once before, failed, and tried to reinstall over it.

You're right, if it arrived at Step 6, the config is configured well... sorry :lmao:

Nothing more likely, in this case it would be enough to delete the current database and reinstall vB.

No that shouldnt be a problem, remove all the files from your host and ask your host if it supports vbulletin on its server. They will let you know and activate any scripts on the server side to run it.
