When you utilize a FTP client you are uploading in a certain format. I think its under the utility menu under "transfer protocol"

You are probably uploading via ASCII which can sometimes mess up php file types.

Upload in binary.

its was auto, i changed now to binary, i will reupload

here in the forum, i get them both, VB Releases forum..
need only to try later? now i can try?

If you can connect to your host, yes you can try again. I mean specifically, which vbulletinrelease link did you use, I want to try the files myself.

So I went about my installation and it went off without a hitch. Delete everything you uploaded, then makea screenshot of the make-config.php and by a screenshot I mean what you are inserting into the make-config prompt.

Also do not delete the .htaccess this will make problems for you in the future.
