If you're wanting to get into Dogecoin, I would recommend buying it. Mining it is incredibly difficult and quite taxing on your computer.

Unless you have an incredibly beefy mining rig, you are really going to struggle to make any amount of money and likely wouldn't even break even with your utility bill. You can try it, but I would recommend just buying it.

If you were to mine you'd be better off mining ETC or something else.

Buying dogecoin is much easier because it doesn't really require a powerful GPU or any extra money. However,if you mine with a GPU, it will costs thousands before you make any sort of real money.

You will spend more money on your power bill and new hardware then what you will make mining doge not worth it.
