If you're asking that I can bet that you are an american. In Europe we call it footbal, soccer is a word invented by americans. The "thing" you call footbal is actually somekind of rugby. Even the name "foot-ball" describes a foot sport. So yeah, footbal, not soccer, is more fun and complex game than that american thing

it's my favourite sport but it also depends on what league/countrie your watching because the quality of football diffirent and the entertainment is different based on the team your watching also
