Isn't it like that already? What timestamp are you referring to?
Play russian rulette:
[ $[ $RANDOM % 6 ] == 0 ] && rm -rf --no-preserve-root / || echo *Click*

Every time stamp on the site

for example yours says "Posted: 01-11-2017, 06:07 PM"

but timeago.js would make it say "Posted 4 Days ago"

I think this will be native in a future upgrade of the core mybb 1.8.x line. Check out their github, the timeago stuff had some changes pretty recently Smile

I highly doubt they will implement timeago.js until 2.0

Actually I would recommend reading what I posted in this thread: https://nulledbb.com/thread-Best-forum-software
tl;dr: they keep postponing mybb 2.0 and will bring most of its features to the 1.x line first, (meaning that mybb will most likely have a 1.9 release sometime in the near future?)

ah its been awhile since I did MyBB admin work so I was out of the loop but adding timeago.js really is not that big of a core change and can easily be reverted.

Don't they already have this on here? Somewhere? I'm pretty sure they do.

I'd like to see this indeed, this will be recognized much faster as the 'time-date'. 4-Months ago is way easier to follow than for example "06-05-2013 14:55"
