what is rp server??

I'm new to this forum and i have seen lot of new threads relating to rp servers like darkrp , badassrp... what this mean ?

RP means Roleplay. So what they are discussing are roleplay servers where you play a role of character.

Roleplay, where you do things you woud irl ie be a police officer

Roleplay, meaning that you can be someone who you cannot be in real life ( usually : police officer, firefighters, soldiers, criminal...)

A basic definition of roleplay is that you need to play a role. You can everything the server allow you to play. (Gangster, police officer, doctor, etc)

RP is roleplay and its on garrys mod and its fun if you like kinda living a life outside of your own and making your own person

Mainly used in Gmod Dark Rp concept, it's not quite that RP. Dark Rp is different in that it is more Arcade and does not require the complexity to master.

rp means roleplay, you play as a person, in Starwarsrp, you play as clone, jedi,
in darkrp you play gangstar or cops
and auschwitzrp...
forget it

although darkrp nowadays is pretty cancerous, starwarsrp is still pretty fun
