what's the best forum software?

so far i really like and think Xenforo is one of the best software that doesn't feel like it's still in the old age unlike vbulletin.
what i wanna know is what's better mybb/xenforo/vbulletin/invision power board?

Please note. if you're going to post make sure it's a useful comment with proof that backs up ur claims on whats the best forum software.

Im using IPB on my community forum and its good. There is good themes leaked for them already so itz easy to setup.

i went with xenforo but regreting it. not a lot of addons for it. welp

I would probably rate IPB as the best. I have also used MyBB. Plenty of plugins to get for both.

There's none which is absolutely better, it depends on your needs & personal preference. XenForo may be the best on one project and the worst on another for example.

xenforo latest version is meh and doesn't have a lot of plugins. switched to mybb. later in the future ill try IPB
