Lack of contrast defintly add some of that but it ugly asf

the drop shadow is throwing off the perspective a little try to lessen it

the picture of him looks too cut and pasted. you might want to filter him in so he can blend with rest of the images

hey! i think you could do a lot to expand on this, but it's a good place to start!

a good tip is to squint when looking at your designs - it helps to determine if there's enough contrast, and if elements pop as they should.

nearly everything in this design is close in value, meaning no one thing stands out. i'd figure out what you'd like to stand out, and work from there.

the image of the person seems to be a lower quality than the other assets used, i'd use a higher quality image if possible. hope some of this is helpful!

Try using exposure layers to add some shadow and light to the image of the person, it looks very flat. I'd suggest using colour balance too to try and colour match a little bit he it blends in more. He very much looks placed over the picture. The shadows below the items on the table have the distance too high, they look like they're floating.
