whats the difference between ae and ae cc?

ive seen versions of adobe after effects. for example, one is "after effects 2020" and another is "after effects 2020 CC". whats the difference?

if I don't say nonsense, the Cc version is the version where it is connected to creative clous, right? not sure

CC is subscription based, you gotta subscribe to creative cloud to use it bc it has features that CS doesn't have

pretty sure theyre mostly the same but cc is connected the creative cloud
