why do people hack?

If you have the skills you might as well use them. Otherwise whats the point in even learning how to hack if your no going to do it.

Sometimes its for fun, sometimes because they cant what they want

Cause they're noob and don't know how to win soo they decide to hack

I think most people just experiment because hacking is very boring

in my opinion, most people hack because a game gets boring and they want to have one last run, or they're trying to impress someone else.

They have nothing to lose or win and they are trash at the game

Why try to win when you can always win

I used to hack in video games when I was a little shit. Basically when I got bored of a game I would use blatant ridiculous free hacks and squeeze a little more fun out of it before I got banned. Hacking isn't really that fun but I would get a few hours of laughs from the ridiculous shit I was doing and from the people that raged at me.
What I don't understand is why people use subtle undetectable hacks that just make them look like a good player. I mean I guess I understand why but that could never be fun for me.

They are either bad at the game or need full advantage over the game
