why do people hack?

they think its funny.... pretty much just that....

i think there are two areas of hacking
1. singleplayer
2. multiplayer

1. i think single-player hacking is ok, i for example usually do it after i beat the game at least once, either as a stress release for the difficulty, or being entertained to see how the game slowly breaks down over time

multiplayer is a lot more annoying because it affects other people, i think people who hack in multiplayer have really competitive brains, but don't have the skills to match, so instead of learning the game and getting better, they take the "easy route" and hack. if anyone here does hack multiplayer i advise you not to as it really takes away from the experience.

Most people who cheat in vidya just get a kick out of it. They love attention, both negative and positive. That's why calling them out - even when you get them removed from the game - just pats their ego in the end lol.

Not worth your time thinking about them, tbh. That just means they won.

Really depending on the person. Some cheat cause they are bad at the game, some are trolls trying to make people mad, or some just do it when they are bored of the base game. Join a Hack vs Hack server and ask them why they cheat and see how their response is. Their is a community built up around cheating and everyone knows each other in a nice community. Not all cheaters are bad some only cheat when they see a cheater on the other team. Like i said depending on the cheater and who they are and how they think.

Honestly. I never understood this. If you're going to cheat, don't bother playing. How is it enjoyable when your computer is doing all the work?

I agree with that, I think single player hacking is okay because you own the rights to the game, it's not effecting anyone and you're getting joy from it. But things like aimbotting and making bots to ruin peoples fun is a little sad.

There are games you have to hack because it is very expensive, and it's not worth it but other games, you have to buy to support the developer.

Why have to blame who cheated? Everybody cheated somehow, like guides to find achievements etc.

Because it's fun to hack, and see ppl rage when you do it
