why do people hack?

Because nothing's worse than getting pwned. Hacking is fulfillment to me - it's like a drug without a choice.

But someone they just cheat to get item in game

Genreally I think people do it for the sense of acomplishment when they kill or beat another individual when they otherwise couldn't. Or they're just a**holes and don't care about other people enjoying the videogame.
