why doesn't VAC work on Garry's Mod?

I recently had people steal some addons with a lua cheat, even though i disabled cslua. anyone know why?

VAC must be one of the worst anti-cheat made. That shit is easy to penetrate. It's sad because valve is a big company.

For Gmod you should use CAC Anti-Cheat

alright, i somewhat know how gmod cheats work, basically for why vac doesn't work is because people used to get banned from innocent addon shit so to overall fix anything, they just disabled vac, and how they bypassed cslua was with a bypass, a bypass forces cslua and sv_cheats and shit like that on multiplayer servers.
