why so many rp servers?

There used to be so many different non rp gamemodes like flood, zombie escape, base wars. Now all I see in the server browser is pay to win rp servers with so many rules when all they are is just money grinding simulators with finding ways to kill each other without getting banned. Is the community nowa bunch of masochists or power tripping kidsdespite the freedom that gmod can give?

i don't even mind DarkRP, i just want it to be like the old days, more vanilla, and wish staff wouldn't bring you to a random roof for singing into your mic as a joke.

There are too many rp servers. And there are only two TTT servers in germany with at leadt 5 players. For about two years there was about 15 TTT servers with at least 10 players an about 5 of them were permanently full. I miss that time

there are simply so many because of the age of gmod its self and youtubers sparking the flames that create more servers

RP is the reason why so many people are playing gmod

its more of just DarkRP and darkRP forks, other servers just dont usually get much traction

I guess people enjoy having a try at running an RP server, everyone has a different idea of what's ideal, sometimes they just go ahead and try making it themselves, of course... Most of them are either DarkRP or Star Wars RP, but hey.

Because DarkRP have a lot of potential for RP server.
