I was raised Bah', but I no longer believe in any god. In my opinion, there are no higher powers, just the collective universe. Nothing is above anything, nothing is individual, nothing is "in" the universe, but instead, we are the universe. We, as we exist right now, are just one of the ways the universe expresses itself, and no matter what we do, we're just helping the cosmos explore itself in new ways. Therefore, there are no objective morals, no one to really hold anyone accountable like a god, just... happenings. We are just the universe happening. That's all. When we "die", we don't really die because we were never an individual life to begin with. Before our consciousness came to be, the particles and energy that made up our bodies made up something else and will continue to do the same after our hearts stop beating and our bodies rot into the ground. It's not sad, it's not cruel, it's just the universe exploring itself. I think it's beautiful. In the words of Carl Sagan: "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.

I know God is real. As much as I can see my own hands in front of my face. I know people refuse to believe because its too "fairy tale" like. But those same people have no problem believing that everything came out of nothing and nowhere, for no reason, and that is totally fine.

But it also appears that religion has a polarizing affect on those around it as well. So now I don't really think about it, if there's a god out there, they probably don't care too much about our actions as a whole.

Hea real as long as people believes in him. He may not exist visibly but as long as there are people that believes in him he will always exist for them.

It's not about thoughts, it's about the reality, but the problem is that noone knows. You can believe or not, but you will never know until you die. You asked the wrong question. Scientist still cannot answer it, maybe the quantum theory will solve the question, because now we only know its all just random in the quantum world.

Honestly I think that god is not real but I do believe mild religion is very helpful for society
