Python is one of the most beautiful programming languages ever created, that's what I love using. Only if it was as fast as C++ it would've been a totally different scenario for the entire world, but is good the way it is.
NodeJS and ReactJS for websites.

I am currently programming heavily on javascript, php, html and css, and of course mysql as a database. before I tried c sharp, but I have to use more php for my work. although I am very interested in learning phyton.

My go-to programming language would either be Lua, Javascript or C# depends on what I am really working on.

c++ for high performance tasks, python for everything else

Lua, python, C++, C#, and of course Java. Java used to be the go-to language, nowadays I wouldn't say it's a bad language, but I definitely wouldn't take it as a first choice unless it was required for what I needed to do. C++ does most of everything better and more efficient in almost every way. Python is good but I wouldn't choose it for large projects, like what sp1der said above, high performance tasks. It just depends on what you're working on.

If you're getting into programming I would suggest learning Java first, then C++. There's nothing wrong with starting at easier languages like Python or Lua, but if you properly learn a more difficult language first you'll be better prepared for larger concepts. Most concepts carry across each language, some (like polymorphism / OOP) do, some (like pointers) don't.

i dont know a coding language fluently but i know a bit of HTML and LUA thats about it really lol

Python is probably the easiest for newcomers to learn

RE: What's your go-to coding language?

I would have to go with LUA because it's easy and very good.

Depends on what you want to do. Backend work- Java. Frontend - JavaScript with a solid framework.

Hi all,

I use many different coding languages, but was wondering what people use the most?

Personally, for websites and such I prefer either NodeJS or PHP, and C# or Electron for applications

Python
