I finally got it working. Don't install Python2.6 from the installer included in the bundle if you're running a modern windows, it is for 32 bit windows and this 64 bit version of blender will never work with it. Instead install the X86-64 version from here:
https://www.python.org/download/releases/2.6/

Which version of Blender are you using? I had the 2.6.6 x64 python and tried both 2.49 and latest Blender release.

Me neither :p
Maybe something with the blender249.blend file + GameLib i have?

I also never got an .htm file from the website
I say that its not difficult to get a model, I dont know how easier it is to apply textures

Hello,

very exited by your script to import Sketchfab models.
I am a Ducati 1098 owner and would like to download the 3D model from Sketchfab.
I applied your procedure (+ installing x86-64 Python2.6 on my WIN10), but after selecting the file file.osgjs.gz, the console displays "0.582 procent" but nothing else...
log.txt is empty.
Any idea what I could try?

Thanks, Greg.

OK, fixed my problem !
I applied this (found in previous reply)

"You might copy the code which you are getting after opening file.osgjs.gz in a new tab into notepad andd then after saving it as a .txt file change it's file extension to .gz and then rename it to file.osgjs try this method it might work out"

I would also add some things for texture ripping.

Instead of using Firefox attached in the archive, its better to use a portable version.
Version 49.0 worked great for me. You can download it from here (PortableApps.com Sourceforge archive) :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/portabl...on%2049.0/

After ripping the textures with NinjaRipper I used Noesis to quickly view them.
You need to just open Noesis and navigate to the folder where you ripped the textures. After that sort them by size and find the ones you need.
To export right click on the texture and hit the Export button.
And then choose a format and location where to export.

Noesis can be download from the official site, heres the latest version:
https://richwhitehouse.com/index.php?con...sv4423.zip

One thingI noticed that some models (especially the ones intended to be used in the games) store some texture (AO, Metalness, Roughness) in an alpha channel.
For example such models can have 6 textures
[Image: di-80VEQR.png]
But when you ripped them its only 3 images with textures.

Just wanted to share itin case ifsomeonedidnt know.

And the last thing that I discovered is that you dont really need the Ninja ripper to get the textures. You can rip them the same way you did with the model.
Open the model, open Network tab, and sort all the stuff by size. And then look for jpeg images.
Then right click them, open in the new window and save them as image.
They may have less quality if comparing to Ninja ripper's ones. But I havent noticed anysignificant difference.
Hope this stuff will help someone.

maybe u could use renderdoc, ninjaripper, or Intel'sGPA to rip the models from the browser but the problem is hooking the software to the browser
it has been done with google maps tho

another problem with ripping models is the uvs ur not gonna be able to get them off of these programs but u can manually create a new uv and al line them to the texture
