Coming from the angle of Trends and Tribulations in the world of web. . if you know
SPA's (Single page apps) is definitley where to go or start going..
- page loads once
- no page refresh
- improved user experience because navigating through content is quicker and more responsive.
- most web traffic today is generated from mobile hence their is high need for mobile first approach webpages, and this is where SPA's rule. it feels like your using a mobile App
- Easier maintenance because you only have to maintain one web page
- Easier to maintain since the different parts of the site is designed in bits & chunks (components)
- You can design for quality over quantity instead of having to design multiple page layouts for different types of site content, you can focus on just one solid and high-quality design
- Your Google PageRank applies to the whole site
and many more

The simpler the better. In IT, in general, it's all about simplicity, so a solution like a SPW will be well received. But, has everything there are cons and limitations. I would say the this kind of WS is good for displaying info like a portofolio WS, but if want to make a webstore this approach will not work as well. Imagine the UX/UI, the querys to the DB, the site will became cumbersome.

Single pages are good for personal pages/blogs but I think that companies (at least ones selling stuff) should at least have 3/4 pages, lets you know more about them and gives off a good look
