Debate: Optifine Or No Optifine

Optifine give more FPS and best minecraft experience.

Basically I'd say:

--> Optifine: If you want to play with shaderpacks and high-res resourcepacks
--> Not Optifine: If you only seek performance or vanilla experience, but then I'd recommend installing Sodium since it does better than Optifine with performance and optimization

Optifine makes the game look beautiful. I'll never play without it

I can live without optifine but I think if you can use optifine I will use it

If you want shaders play with Optifine, if not then use the Sodium mod with Fabric to get maximum FPS. Optifine does give a small FPS boost but it is nothing compared to the boost Sodium gives you.

Optifine is basically free FPS, shaders and (paid) capes.

You should use optifine unless it's giving you problems. I use it everyday and it looks and runs good.

Why wouldn't you use optifine? I mean, it is possible to play without it, but I will always recommend installing it to increase performance.

Even on great hardware if I dont use optifine I get lag spikes all the time. Plus Optifine adds ZOOM and other aesthetic features.
