Debate: Optifine Or No Optifine

Optifine is like the best.

1) i dont need it since my pc is pretty beefy
2) its really handy and it boosts preformance, win win!

without Optifinei cant even breathe! i love shaders

I don't need optifine for vanilla minecraft but I always use it because I love using shaders and optifine's many features like dynamic lights and connected textures makes the game so much better and more aesthetically pleasing to look at.

optifine is great, looks amazing, but you need a higher end pc to run the full setup it has to offer

I always use optifine beacause i see no reason not to, boosted fps and small QOL improvements scuh as zoom are all great

- More FPS, more stable game without "Not Enough RAM" errors or something like that

Personally and in the little that I know about the minecraft programming code, it seems to me that it is better without optifine. Optifine tends to consume more resources from your pc, which is why it works better. In short, that's why.

ne should do it good if you dont have a really fast computer

Optifine for sure, better fps, shaders, zoom. 3d block with some texture packs.

Optifine helps a great computer run Minecraft like a AAA title and a bad laptop run it playably not to mention all the customization and features so I have to go with Optifine
