Why is DarkRP Popular?

It is like the best roleplaying mod from the game so that why lol

i love darkrp because the stupid shit i can do in it, in latinamerica there isnt a lot of big servers (only 2, the others one close pretty quick). One of them is seriusrp, but the other is mostly centered in doing stupid shit and having fun lol, they dont even raid (and there is jobs and tools for that),

Commercial projects, you don't need much to understand how to play, and RP is simply not there

Because its good. It has much great features and is really good for small servers to get players

Just like PoliceRP etc. It provides freedom and enhances the sandbox aspect. Allowing you to build your own house tailored per server to their rules ofcourse.

You can roleplay scenarios and use server content to enhance that too.

it's just fun at the end of the day and that's what people enjoy

This is a very fun mode for playing GMOD, I use it myself.

It was really enjoyable at first, but later a cancer mass developed.

Because you can do many modes on it like cityrp, SCP-RP, SWRP etc.

I've wondered how an RP gamemode took over what Garry's mod was meant to be for a long time, still do.

Personally for me, I loved playing Police jobs, It's important to note that darkrp post 2015 shifted from building, doing dumb shit and funny interactions to hit men, raiding and grinding (essentially pissing people off)

Playing Police in DarkRP is interesting as nobody generally expects it and being a good one can definitely get some reactions i know some of you love, Give a try some time.

Just a warning if you do it too well, the management of the server won't take too kindly.
