I've tried going to sleep at a specific time but I just can't get myself to go to sleep early every single night because it just seems like I'm missing out on something

Have also tried a weighted blanket but I don't use it anymore because if I turn the weights keep shifting until all of them are on one side

come up with a bedtime routine, could be washing face and brushing teeth or reading book with a cup of tea, then you gotta set a solid bed time, not necessarily be asleep but be in bed by a certain time. with no distractions if you perform those hand in hand you should be good

Maybe getting back on washing my face with a scrub and leaving my toiletry bag in my main bathroom or something could help with starting a routine

I keep my toothbrush and toothpaste etc. In a toiletry bag wich i either leave somewhere downstairs or in my main bathroom. So it's not like if I go to brush my teeth I'm always upstairs where It's more natural to go to my room

I learned that I just have to put my phone or tablet down maybe just listen to some r and b and just lay there

Listening to something or having music in the background playing indeed helps me a lot. However I'm always afraid that if I fall asleep with my phone on I'll wake up to an uncharged phone and I won't have the time to charge up if I need to go somewhere

Take some melatonin pills and warm water or milk before sleeping, shut out all light

I've been debating about buying melatonin pills or gummies but I first want to try changing some stuff on my own

stretch, meditate, drink milk, no phone, and try going to sleep. avoid sleeping pills as they can make you dependent on them.
