I have been struggling with my sleep cycle for probably 2 to 3 solid years now.

Whenever I'm "tired" I never want to actually go to sleep because I don't want to miss out on any fun time

But whenever I'm not tired and know that I should be sleeping I can't and end up getting annoyed and just scroll on my phone until like 3 in the middle of the night or later

Does anyone recognize this and maybe have any tips or some motivation

I know I should just take my lazy ass to sleep but I just don't want to go to sleep bored

It sounds like you're caught in a cycle of wanting to stay up for fun but then feeling annoyed when you can't sleep later. It's a common struggle, but there are steps you can take to improve your sleep habits. Have you tried setting a bedtime routine or creating a relaxing environment before bed? Also, limiting screen time before sleep can help your body wind down. Making small changes like these can gradually improve your sleep quality.

come up with a bedtime routine, could be washing face and brushing teeth or reading book with a cup of tea, then you gotta set a solid bed time, not necessarily be asleep but be in bed by a certain time. with no distractions if you perform those hand in hand you should be good

Take some melatonin pills and warm water or milk before sleeping, shut out all light

It's a common struggle, but there are steps you can take to improve your sleep habits. Have you tried setting a bedtime routine or creating a relaxing environment before bed?
