I used to use PHPStorm as IDE, not saying its the best, but its learning curve is not very pronounced.
Generally I only use Sublime Text 3, its enough for most of my tasks.

I use NetBeans for almost all of my works. I'm currently developping using PHP, Java and Python.

If you're looking soley for a PHP IDE, then I'd strong suggest Komodo IDE. Hands down one of the strongest PHP tools out. I use it myself.

Usually I use Atom. As g3x said above me, it's a great editor with tons of neat plugins and themes.

Yup, Atom has to be my all-time favourite. Switched over from Notepad++ (don't judge me) a couple of months back and I've been loving it ever since. I personally use Emmett too for my frontend development.

Atom w/ beautify plugin and PHP-CS-FIXER. Although Sublime is fine too.
