I don't use an IDE for PHP
Notepad++ does the job for me

Atom, I simply love it ^^ I can recommend PHP Storm too

If you need a light IDE, you can try Sublime Text or ATOM.
If you need strong IDE, you can try PHPStorm.

I use PHPStorm.
Btw, IDE is stand for Integrated Development Environment.
Atom, Sublime, VS Code, Brackets is a Text editor.

NetBeans+Atom theme Smile. NetBeans is very good IDE, also Atom

I used to use PHPStorm as IDE, not saying its the best, but its learning curve is not very pronounced.
Generally I only use Sublime Text 3, its enough for most of my tasks.
