I'm sure there's a law to inform users of an unlawful data breach, but not sure if one exists for a legal data surrender.

Not for the legality of which they handed the data over, but they advertised themselves as keep a no log policy and evidently they lied. Surely that's breaking atleast one law?

"Keeping no logs" is a vague statement. Being vague is apparently okay in the advertisement industry when they don't deliver to people's expectations.

True I suppose. Either way, they're going to loose a customer base, and be branded that company that lied and sold out.
