I don't understand why people trust vpns. If you truly want to be safe then move country and be off the grid.

There are some VPN services that are really reliable. I have subscribtions to a couple, all without real names and paid through BTC. I wouldn't say they're 100% trust worthy, but I've been with them for years, and have had absolutely no issues. Granted the speeds aren't as great as some of the 'sketchy' VPN hosters, but I'd rather compromise on the speed than the security and trustworthy nature of the company.

I mean he was allegedly stalking his roommate who's female? Last time I checked, the FBI didn't care about that stuff... So he's probably done something else, and they've used that as an excuse to grab him and search his computer.

If you want a reliable vpn for gaming or etc then there isn't any problem buying your own or getting some reputable brand. Were talking about illegal shit here.I would trade ease and reliability for anonymity any day.
