It depends on what you are planning to do on that server. However, I think EssentialsX is a must-have.

On a side note, I absolutely LOVE Crackshot. You can make guns with it. It's extremely to play around with friends shooting each other.

FAWE is a very useful plugin. it optimizes worldedit. I recommend it.

Essentials, GroupManager, WorldEdit, WorldGuard... I love them! I can't remember all of them :D

those plugins named out are pretty common, some a bit less know could be redprotect wich is a plugin for protecting specific regions (mostly used by players) and quite easy to use but as its less well known, i suggest you have a little tutorial on your server to explain people how to use it. You could also use createyourownmenus plugin wich is very easy to use and gets you a great menu for your server. (you can add commands to items in menu)

I would start looking garrysmod.org. They have lot's of things from maps to huds that you can download and add to your server. I know I've used this website before.
Thanks

Do you guys know any free, useful and not really famous plugins I can use for my server? If yes, comment one or two!

Someone else also mentionedPermissionsEx - I'll second that.
