I didn't think of that. I honestly don't think it's a bad idea to allow all new members to +1 and nuetral. And -1 can be unlocked with requirememts.

I still don't think allowing new members to +1 is a good idea, that should have somesolid requirements. People can abuse that by getting their friends to register just to +1 them, etc. Neutral is fine with no requirements. -1 might not be a good idea until very strict requirements are met.

Reach 300 posts, and then wait to be approved for a +1.. That seems way too harsh. How about just requiring 50, or 100 and thats it lol

It do be like that. One thing after another...Give them an automated pm or notification saying they are eligible for repping privileges.

Yeah, if a requirement is put in place having users just be able to add 1 reputation point could be good. I like this suggestion cgt, never thought about it.

I can see it on the principle that someone may want to drop a +1 because they liked a specific leak or whatnot. In the long run it could end badly with multiple accounts on VPNs just to drop +1 or to revenge neg someone. I like the idea but yes a lot of strict requirements should be in place.

I never said 300. In fact I never even gave a number. I'd say 100 posts and you'd be able to use +1as long as you don't have a warning level.
