5k posts, I agree.
Chatter or lounger, useless.
Popular, like the idea but could be abused easily.
Quote:Posting awards - Some of these are ridiculous. 2k posts in the gaming section alone is ridiculous and won't be able to be earned for months and months and months away from now. Nobody will think about going for that award since it's so far out of reach. Honestly, 1k should be enough for stuff like that.Awards are supposed to be hard to get, don't agree.
Quote:Same thing goes with Spy and Blackhat - they're unattainable by the majorityThen you don't deserve them.
Quote:Nobody on this forum speaks of Minecraft, that award is shit - blunt truth.Just because no one talks about it right now, doesn't mean they won't later on, we're still a growing community.
Money hungry, kinda like the idea.
Giveaway, meh.
What do you think of the User Owned awards?

I guess they're okay, but I think there should be a limit on how many can be on the forum all together.
Like 5 users have the custom award at max.

Giveaway, why not give people a reason to contribute?
There's a difference between hard to earn, and very well impossible. If there is 5.7k posts total in the Gaming section, there's no way one person will be getting 2k in there anytime soon.
As far as the one's you said were useless, nothing is useless if it's towards the site. They're merely awards and they're meant as a placwement for guess what... achievements that you've achieved on site. That's the whole premis of awards in general so no suggestion is pointless. Leader would be a good idea because it would get group owners to select better leaders for their groups and the leaders get another benefit from contributing their time to help the group.
Still not a reason to remove it.
Sure, but then I wouldn't use the "at least $5" rule, some things are more precious, but not everyone sees that. So I wouldn't call that fair.
So we should just spam awards as placements? If it's not needed, we won't have it. Also so since you buy a group, you also get a free award? Yeah no.

Yeah I was just comparing it to the fact that we have custom groups and there can't be unlimited of them.

Yeah but they probably will be limited and not cheap if we do get them.

Like Faded said, it would probably be 5. Starting at the first award being like $25 going to $50 then uppity up.
