After Effects or Sony Vegas Pro?

if you want to do vfx/mograph/etc then ae... if you want to do some simple stuff then svp

big fan of after effects but in the end you can make great things in all software

after effects is so much better ( better libraries )

Sony Vegas Pro seems to be much better

after effect and premier pro(alternative to sony vegas pro) some effect in plugins can't be use in sony vegas pro because you need premier pro or after effect and sony vegas pro is not good with tracking and 3d things and in sony vegas you don't have rotobrush and element 3d . After effect is compatible with cinema 4d so you can load c4d file directly in after effect but after effect and premier pro need a lot of ram/graphique ram sony vegas use less
